hobbie print shop terms of service

By engaging in business with Hobbie for screen printing and/or design services, you agree to the following Terms of Service:

1. orders

  • We reserves the right to decline projects that don’t align with our values & ethics.

  • All orders must be made via email.

2. approval

  • Approval of artwork, mockups and the quote must be received via email before production begins.

3. Artwork & design

  • Artwork must be supplied as vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF preferred) OR high-resolution bitmap images (300dpi at the intended print size). Hobbie offers design assistance or file preparation for an additional fee.

  • Once approved, artwork cannot be changed without affecting the schedule and potentially the price of the project.

  • When engaging in our design service, any final artwork and files become the property of the customer. Unused concepts and revisions remain the property of Hobbie.

4. Turnaround Time

  • Standard turnaround is 14 –21 business days from the date of artwork approval and full payment.

  • Rush orders may be available for an additional fee—please contact us for availability.

  • Delays caused by artwork issues, late payment or the availability of blanks may affect turnaround time. Hobbie will communicate any unforeseen delays as soon as they become known.

5. Payment

  • We require payment in full before we commence work or order materials.

  • All prices include GST, unless otherwise stated.

6. Cancellations & Changes

  • For cancellations after work has commenced, costs already incurred for labour & materials will be deducted from your refund.

  • Changes after production has begun may not be possible, or may incur additional costs and delays.

  • Any change requests must be made via email to amy@hobbie.ink

7. Printing Variations

  • Manual screen printing may produce slight variations in print alignment, ink coverage, or colour. These are considered normal and are not defects.

  • Colours may differ slightly between digital proofs and final printed garments.

8. Delivery

  • Delivery is available Australia-wide. Delivery costs are quoted separately and are at the expense of the customer, unless written otherwise.

  • We are not responsible for delivery delays once goods leave our premises.

9. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights

  • All custom printed orders are final and non-refundable unless faulty under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures. We will resolve minor issues by reprinting or correcting the item.

  • Issues must be reported within 3 days of receiving the order. Please inspect your goods on arrival.

10. Copyright

  • By supplying artwork to Hobbie for printing, you confirm you own or have permission to reproduce the design.

  • We are not responsible for any copyright or trademark infringements related to customer-supplied artwork.

11. Ownership of Screens and films

  • Any screens, films or files created by Hobbie remain the property of Hobbie. If requested, these may be made available for a fee.
